Eskayel: the poolside collection

Eskayel’s latest digital print collection looks like a winner. This aquatic-inspired range of fabric, wallpaper & pillows is refreshingly called The Poolside Collection, and its cool, fresh designs live up to its name.

You might remember my previous post featuring their unusual and eye-catching digital prints, but this latest collection had me mesmerised with its diamond-like patterns and ink-splashed appeal.

I can visualise this designer poolside collection in an exclusive boutique beach hotel… relaxing on sun-bleached wooden loungers, the sound of the waves lapping at the shore, perhaps a refreshing spa treatment with an ocean view. Bliss.

Fabric Friday: Eskayel

Hello all.. I’m happy to report that it is indeed Friday and today I thought I’d share some inspiration from one of my favourite design houses, Eskayel. I’ve posted about their unusual and unique wallpaper designs before, but I couldn’t help sharing again. This time, their digitally printed fabric collection and some very sweet polar bear illustrations caught my eye.

Eskayel: Wallpaper

New York based design studio Eskayel creates beautiful and clever products for interiors. But the beauty of their products is superbly balanced by their unique and innovative design. By taking elements from her paintings as an initial starting point, designer Shanan Campanaro creates stylishly patterned wall coverings, textiles, pillows, and ceramics which are fantastically individual.

The prints have a peaceful quality to them and remind me of Rorschach inkblot tests, but updated in a cool, contemporary way.
