We’re not just talking about any old purple here. We’re talking about that deliciously dusty shade of purple called plum. It’s more intense and brooding than purple and it seems as if nature quite fancies this shade too. Imagine the delicate skin of a ripe fig or the powdery plumpness of a... plum. Visualise the last sip of a fine merlot still in your wine glass, or your stained fingers after picking mulberries. It’s that luscious berry shade, but slightly darker and more mysterious.
It’s a beautiful colour to wear and to use in your home, especially as the weather turns cooler and the season mellows into winter.
