Inge Jacobsen: Stitchwork

Artist Inge Jacobsen creates a truly unique perspective on fashion imagery. Cleverly combining high fashion and crafts, she uses embroidery and collage to alter our view of the ever-increasing flood of images which we consume on a daily basis. Jacobsen says, “My main concern as an artist is how one responds to the mass of imagery in the world. Altering these is central to a lot of my work.”

These Vogue covers really caught my eye, and I think the reverse of the embroidery work is equally as beautiful.
