Dries Van Noten’s fall winter 2012 collection struck a cord with me. Perhaps it was the fluid yet sharp lines of the femininely masculine silhouettes. Maybe it was the Japanese, Chinese and Korean iconography from the V&A Museum which was photographed and digitally printed onto silk and crepe in abstract representations of the original kimono references. But it could also have been the bold turquoise, blue and orange palette set against a jet black background which caught my eye…
