The work of New York photographer Philip Ficks has a unique perspective with a strong sense of contrast and composition. I actually found it difficult to choose which images to feature from his site because they’re all individually eye catching. It makes perfect sense that Philip’s work is so unique – a painter and graphic designer, turned art director, turned photographer makes for a well-rounded creative with a broad range of talents. Often a good designer makes a great photographer, simply because their work is mostly instinctive and seldom contrived. This selection of editorial, advertising and commercial shots are stunning!
