The timeless elegance of this editorial for Elle US January issue totally captured my heart. Lensed by Thomas Whiteside, the glamorously iconic fifties inspiration behind these gorgeous silhouettes had me transported back to the era of Audrey Hepburn and dreaming of hats, gloves and nipped in waists. The architecturally constructed retro gowns from designers Fendi, Donna Karan, Carven, Dior and Louis Vuitton totally blew me away. I love the juxtaposition of the graphic black & white alongside the jewel toned shades of amethyst & violet.
Classic, timeless and inspirational.
